When my sister got engaged, I took on the task to organize her wedding. My father and I worked together to organize the venue, catering, decorations, guest relations, and activities. Through this project, I strengthened my skills in communication and organization. It was the first event I managed outside of school, and it was an amazing experience.
Traveling Across Bali

I recently spent ten weeks in Bali, Indonesia. During the week, I’d volunteer, teaching english classes for children ages 9-11. I wrote up lesson plans, created activities, and bonded with the amazing children. On the weekends, I planned trips to explore the island. This gave me a great amount of experience in the travel industry.
Escape Room: Breakout of Galvanize, Marina Murder

In UnCollege we were assigned a “work sprint” where we spent 48 hours creating something. I decided to put my event planning skills to the task and created an escape room. I organized seven complex puzzles and a unique theme for a room that players work together to break out of. After the 48 hours were over, I created a sign-up sheet for my friends to test out my creation and experience the room.
